TOGO HOUSE OF PEACE

OUR TOGO HEADQUARTERS

Our House of Peace Initiative is dedicated to creating a transformative hub in Lomé, Togo that fosters both local and global impact. Since its establishment in 2020, the House of Peace has become a cornerstone of our mission, serving as a central hub for our operations and a beacon of hope and opportunity in Togo. Our vision is to create a space that not only supports our team and mission but also enriches the local community and economy. The House of Peace stands as a testament to this vision, offering a dynamic environment where our work thrives and our community is uplifted.

Here’s how we are making a difference:

The lower level of the House of Peace is a vibrant workshop where our team crafts beautiful products for our for-profit side. It includes a staff kitchen, a dedicated Child Development Center, quality control room, and office spaces, providing a comprehensive and nurturing environment for our team members. They benefit from air- conditioned workspaces, a safe area for their children, and a well-equipped facility that supports their well-being and productivity.

The second floor houses a missional team of up to 13 people, featuring six spacious bedrooms, five bathrooms, a family room, a dining area, and a separate kitchen. This space is designed to offer comfort and functionality, with additional amenities such as Francis’ office and a serene side porch for reflection and relaxation.

The third floor’s stunning porch area not only provides a panoramic view of Lomé but also serves as a venue for team meetings and gatherings. The building also supports the local economy by renting office space to local businesses, employing local chefs, and safely storing fabrics purchased from local vendors. Our goal is for the House of Peace to be a pillar of generational change in Lomé, and we are committed to achieving this with your support.

The Beginning

We were able to buy the building!

Situated right in the heart of Lomé, this building is in the perfect location being just a few blocks from the children's school.

we remodeled all three floors of the building and outfitted it for air-conditioning using local contractors and businesses.

2022-2023

The Remodel

In 2021, through the generosity of countless individuals, we were able to fill and a shipping container will all of the furniture, bedding, and supplies needed to outfit the HOP!

Then in the summer of 2023 a group of men from Charleston followed the shipping container to help Francis and local workmen install the appliances, put together all the bunkbeds, and complete the finishing touches on our building.

our togo team was thrilled to welcome them and host them as the very first visitors to the house of peace.

Our Vision

our desire is to host teams from across the world to experience what god is doing in togo.
